Session: Inclusive Smart Homes
At frog, I've been working on scaling a smart home ecosystem for the last few years now and we know that at the moment, smart homes are still extremely basic, but they have a huge potential. The trajectory of this space heavily depends on whether we invest in inclusivity right from the start.Home is our sanctuary and no one should feel excluded, ESPECIALLY in their own homes. I will share my experiences in designing for different cultural perspectives, different archetypes and age groups, languages, disabilities, genders and a lot more.

Hi there! I'm Ankita, a Senior Interaction Designer at frog design. I'm a graduate of Carnegie Mellon's Integrated Innovation for Products and Services Masters program post which I've worked at R/GA and Idea Couture New York before heading to frog. I'm currently specializing in the UX of smart home ecosystems.I'm deeply passionate about inclusive design and how tech is an enabler for people with disabilities.
