We are seeking a software engineer to participate in system performance optimization for HPC workloads.

Responsibilities:

• Technical analysis of performance problems of single and multi-node HPC workloads
• Analysis of performance abnormalities and bottlenecks
• Analysis of systems and workloads to develop solutions to improve system performance and identify tuning opportunities
• Design, development and improvement of performance analysis tools and benchmarks

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other science or engineering field
• 2 years’ experience with performance benchmarking and optimization in HPC workloads

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of distributed computing technologies, HPC cluster and grid design, and HPC hardware and software environments.
• Deep understanding of MPI implementations and RDMA over Infiniband and Converged Ethernet
• Good knowledge of benchmarks and performance analysis tools to measure and analyze performance in HPC systems on both bare-metal and cloud environments
• Strong familiarity with HPC environment optimization and performance tuning, including accelerators such as GPUs.
• Results oriented, analytical, exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to analyze complex issues, prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
