The AWS Developer Tools team is creating the foundational components that our whole organization depends on to build exceptional customer experiences leveraging modern tools like the AWS CDK and GraphQL. Best of all, we work with our customers every day, and help them get the most out of the tools we build. Our builders are the technical design leaders on the founding team of a new AWS product.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 + years of Programming experience with at least one modern language
  • Has experience building and optimizing APIs
  • Has worked with large-scale, distributed systems and is familiar with horizontal scaling, high throughput and massive, rapidly growing data sets
  • Enjoys solving complex software problems, and possesses analytical, design and problem-solving skills
  • Has an in-depth understanding in SDLC areas such as IDEs, source code management, and CI/CD
  • Has experience on distributed teams
