What You’ll Be Doing:

• Overseeing the engineering environment and proactively identifying and addressing issues.
• Reviewing current processes and transforming them into scalable solutions.
• Debugging OS and engineering issues within our provided Unix environment.
• Managing and deploying virtual machines across various environments, including physical resources such as BareMetal.
• Collaborating on internal projects across different time zones and teams.
• Following up with customers and handing over tasks/issues with team members to utilize time zones efficiently.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong Linux administration skills and hands-on experience with various Linux distributions (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, SuSE).
• Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, OpenStack).
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Podman).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell, Ansible).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git.
• Understanding of network technologies and debugging methods.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and debug Linux issues in the environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Project management skills and the ability to craft extensive documentation.
• Independence and self-motivation to achieve successful deployments.
