Job Summary
As Sales Manager, with own customer responsibility for and within the Sweden Commercial Districts (Named and Territory), you will manage all sales, the Team, the sales activities and your own customers. You will be responsible for carrying out the full NetApp Portfolio and leveraging the right skills within the organization and our partner eco system to meet our customers’ requirements, and our own expectations.
This challenging dual and high-visibility position provides leadership, management oversight and mentors Sales Representatives. You develop long-term strategies and shorter-term plans to meet high revenue goals. You must be results driven, customer focused and skilled at building internal- and external partnerships. You will from time to time be engaged in cross-regional strategic programs and you are expected to manage a subset of the larger customers in the district. You are expected to carry experience from both indirect Partner sales and people management.
Area of responsibility and interaction
• Responsible of course, being a coach, mentor, educator and the sales leader for the teams, creating an environment to make the individual and the team successful
• Drive forecasting but also a planning cadence to secure activity, funnel and plans, both short-term and long-term to reach our goals on individual and team level.
• Be the sales bridge and driver to our Partner organization but also our Partners and Distribution
• Plan and direct activities including planning, marketing program development, relationship development and customer satisfaction.
• The ability to build a broad corporate network of peers, is a skill that is essential.
• Prepare forecast, activity plans, account plans and support Partner plans for Management review comes with the job, as does budget, business, ethics and compliance responsibility
• You will work with Area and Country leads to implement initiatives in the team and promote the interactions.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a regular basis.
• Act as a team member in the management team, we understand that strategic and local initiatives go across boundaries of the own team and responsibility needs to be taken to implement and support these as one team.
• Identify and qualify important sales opportunities at the management level.
• Keep senior management informed of key issues and changes which may impact on expected business results.
Requirements on Profile, Education & Experience
• Strong understanding of storage/infrastructure technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
• Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
• An ability to understand how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
• Experience as a Manager and Sales Representative with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years.
• Demonstrated experience working with Channel/Sales organizations and technical teams.
• Experience with developing budgets and predicting sales based on activities.
• A demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience as an individual contributor and 3 years as a people manager is required.
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science; or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills are required
• Proven relationship building and negotiating skills are required
• Strong Swedish and English skills are required
