While numerous tech companies have instituted anti-harassment policies, their efficacy is often undermined by company culture. Policies alone are insufficient if the workplace environment does not support reporting harassment or if retaliation against complainants is a real fear. For policies to protect women effectively, a culture shift within the organization is imperative.
