Bio
Miyu Lee is CLO & General Counsel of Berlin-based Mondu, an innovative B2B payments company. Lee has many years of international Fintech experience and oversees Mondu’s legal and compliance teams.
Lee formerly was Head of Legal and Compliance at Billpay and played an integral role in the company’s integration into Klarna. She then joined the Klarna team, where she held many positions. Among her accomplishments at Klarna, she oversaw an international Product Legal Team and, as Head of Legal & Regulatory Operations, played a crucial role in Klarna’s international market expansion both in and outside the EU.
Lee holds a PhD in Economics from Humboldt University and a law degree from Harvard Law School and is a triple-qualified lawyer with qualifications in Germany, Austria and the US.
Lee’s work has been recognised twice by The Legal 500 GC Powerlist in Germany. Once in 2019 for Top In-House Counsel in Financials, and in 2018 for Top In-House Teams in Financials.
