As a Engagement Manager, you will focus on maximising value, retention and growth throughout the customer life-cycle. You will help to build, innovate and evolve customers' web performance, cyber security, streaming media and DevOps strategies. Becoming an industry expert, delivering innovative outcomes for customers through efficient relationships, business acumen, and operational focus.

As an Engagement Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Working as a Technical Consultant for the customer and cross-functional teams to encourage account growth.
  • Achieving the customer's long-term vision for a high quality and secure experience online.
  • Being a trusted technical advisor by maximising Akamai's platform value for the customer.
  • Supporting customer enablement with training and presentations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to streamline service delivery for customers and to ensure team success and efficiency.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience working as a technical consultant.
  • Have detailed knowledge of internet technologies and online industry. This includes technologies such as HTTPS, DNS, DevOps, Web Development and Information Security Technologies.
  • Have hands on experience with cloud technologies
  • Demonstrate good written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences.
  • Be passionate about technology.
