Despite the challenges of being the youngest, the only woman, and the only woman of color in leadership roles, I managed to carve a niche for myself. Although navigating through the "boys' club" was not easy, I turned my struggles into lessons, paving the way for robust leadership development and gender equality.

Why I Chose to Coach Women in Leadership

After noticing the absence of formal training available, I decided to channel the lessons learnt into creating coaching opportunities for employees. The joy of seeing these employees start to get promoted led me towards my next step: launching my own business as a career coach.

Armed with a passion for combating the long-standing issue of the gender pay gap, I pledged my career towards helping women rise in their professions. It is high time to address the gap that has been widened further during the current pandemic—men have been promoted three times as often as women.
