Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with key external partners to ensure HP can continue to provide best-in-class AI-enabled experiences, including driving silicon roadmaps to include necessary accelerators (IPU, VPU, NPU, GPU, DSP, etc.) and OS enablement. You will also support internal teams developing algorithms and software to ensure AI features and experiences are consistent across the PS portfolio.

 

To be successful, you will be a Principal Engineer with a working knowledge of algorithm development and deployment. You will also have a deep understanding of the ecosystem of AI-enablement in silicon and OS. Responsibilities

 

As the AI Ecosystem Technologist, you will:

  • Partner with key OS and silicon partners to ensure HP can provide best-in-class AI-enabled experiences
  • Work with internal stakeholders and developers to ensure new AI-driven features and experiences are consistent across the portfolio
  • Help build and scale processes to simplify deployment across a range of hardware devices with different accelerator capabilities and throughout the lifecycle of the devices and algorithms
  • Explore business model options to drive the best customer experience and monetization (e.g. product feature, stand-alone app in app store, freemium)

Skills & Education

  • Required
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
    • 1-3+ years of hands-on, real-world experience with AI deployment onto hardware accelerator (IPU, VPU, NPU, GPU, DSP)
    • Experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction
    • Comfortable working cross functionally across SW development and product teams in different BUs
  • Desirable
    • Experience with SaaS business model
    • Experience with Python, JavaScript and/or other programming languages in a production environment
    • Familiarity with ONNX, ONNX.js, Tensorflow.js, Core ML, and other AI ML/DL formats
