We're looking for a Senior Commercial Operations Analyst to join our Deal Management and Commercial Operations team!
New Relic is leading the industry with our move to consumption based pricing, and you will be integral in supporting our operations teams and aligning them to our company strategy.
You will work with teams across the Finance and GTM organization, glean insights about their performance from various sources, and apply a consultative approach to make important recommendations. As a key member of the Deal Operations function, you will also play a major role working with our pricing team and evolving their processes. Opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on the applicant location.
What you'll do
- Own reporting and analytics for the Deal Management team
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, behaviors and corresponding business impact to inform commercial operation decisions.
- Utilize data science techniques and statistical methods to conduct exploratory analyses and develop predictive models that drive business insights and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain a balanced set of KPIs and performance metrics that assess the success of deal management initiatives, including inventory management, cycle time, and key wins and losses.
- Utilize various data analysis tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights from large datasets, covering both product usage and financial data.
- Create and present data-driven reports and presentations to stakeholders, demonstrating how process improvements positively impact the bottom line
- Stay current with best practices in data analysis and data science to make well-informed data-driven recommendations.
This role requires
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field)
- 3 to 5 years related work experience
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visual tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
- Strong proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly in the context of influencing strategies.
- Project management skills - Independently execute, document, communicate. Influence stakeholders and partners while requirement gathering, designing data models and visualization.
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
