Job Description Summary

Own the process design and support the development of key components and business capabilities within the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) system for GEHC and the related logistics solutions (internal and external applications) supporting the overall logistics processes. The OTM system is the backbone of the logistics systems ecosystem and is strongly integrated with the GLPROD Oracle ERP platform and other systems. As part of this role a close coordination and continuous communication with the global user base and site leadership is essential, to anticipate future needs and help to keep the system landscape and related functionalities up to date to the needs of the business. This role will require to develop ideas and suggestion in cooperation with our business partners to continuously evolve the solutions we provide.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Techno/Functional owner of site by site deployments and adoption/efficiency optimizations of existing systemic solutions for transportation management in a global operating environment.

• Be the point of contact for the USCAN and LATAM geography.

• Work with and consult with stakeholders to identify key operational needs and to design processes and deploy technical solutions and tools to improve existing and enable new business capabilities.

• Guide and support sites in process mapping activities to enable a clear vision statement and understand the who, what, how, and why to deliver quality solutions and enable transition to the To-Be state.

• Coordinate development efforts with internal and external development resources to improve existing tools including Oracle R12 Enterprise Resource Planning and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)

• Translate functional business needs to technical design requirements by understanding the business language and the technical specs.

• Proven business acumen and ability to influence key stakeholders and drive results in a complex business environment.

• Analyse key data and create monitoring solutions to measure adoption and success of implementation of new business capabilities and support the functional business partners with the stabilization of newly implemented processes to help maximize long term outcomes.

• Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated logistics processes with technical outside the box thinking. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to influence decisions.

• Support product roadmap and strategy creation. Partner with IT counterparts and operational logistics teams to prioritize tasks and deploy solutions.

• Support local teams on change management and change acceleration to boost business effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar profession or related logistics profession
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain technical or techno/functional role
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally
• Proficiency in transportation logistics and/or warehouse management processes and solid understanding of the logistics landscape.
• Solid understanding of standard project management methodologies (Agile/LEAN/Waterfall
• Good understanding and technical knowledge on the configuration and set up within Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) system.
• Expert Knowledge in rate management and rate structuring within OTM
• Solid understanding of software development standard methodologies and respective quality guidelines.
• PL/SQL knowledge
• Strong Experience in change management and related End User Support and End User Training.

• Sound knowledge on GTM (Oracle Global Trade Management)

• Strong analytical skills
