What’s the role?
Our People Analytics team is responsible for providing high-quality data, reports, and analytics to deliver key people insights to our business. Our insights drive evidence-based decision-making about people and the needs of our business.
Your friends all know you as someone who is collaborative, analytical, and a problem solver. You work well under pressure, and discretion is something that comes naturally to you. You're naturally curious and analytical, and love building stories to give context to your data for impactful decisions. You enjoy seeing projects through from concept to rollout using creativity.
As the People Analytics Insights Partner, you will collaborate closely with teammates throughout HR, and executive leaders of multiple cross-functional departments, gleaning meaningful stories from Bloomberg's workforce data. Through your analytical resourcefulness, we will optimize HR efforts and the employee experience.
We’ll trust you to:
- Collaborate with HR Stakeholders to provide valued data analyses and insights.
- Deliver complex data-driven narratives in a visually appealing and simplified manner that is impactful for executive-level stakeholders.
- Work closely with HR business groups to develop metrics and performance indicators to support and resolve people-related business priorities, strategies, and challenges.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and build efficiencies and actively develop ways to improve reporting, analysis and operational support.
- Develop the data analytics roadmap and work with Qlik developers to design, test and rollout compelling dashboards.
- Ensure prioritization and timely delivery of requests, data accuracy, and consistency.
- Manage ad hoc requests and provide day-to-day reporting and analytics support to HR Business Partners, Leadership, and business clients.
You'll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics focused on delivering insights and driving meaningful impact with at least 3 years of working in People Analytics.
- Strong presentation skills and story-telling ability to influence strategic business decisions
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and deep dive into complex data and multiple data sources.
- Proven track record of translating data analysis and research findings into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations for various levels of stakeholders in different departments.
- A self-starter approach, with an enthusiastic team spirit and strong collaboration skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- An ability to act with care regarding confidential information
- A bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Industrial/Organization Psychology (disciplines with substantial scientific and quantitative training preferred)
We'd love to see:
- Experience in BI development or other data visualization techniques and tools
- Familiarity with Workday and/or other HR packages
