I have been working in the IT industry for 25 years. I have been a technical manager for 16 years, leading now a team of high skilled Cloud architects and specialists whose mission is to design solutions for our clients in their digital transformation journey. I have a strong experience in leading global and distributed teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and professionally developing team members.
For the past 2 years I have been working in the Cloud and AI areas, looking at the increasing attention and importance these themes are getting in every business. My focus is to drive digital transformation for both public and private companies, mainly in the insurance and banking industries. Cloud and its key strengths has become my main area of interest. I've been working for the Public Sector, leading IBM Cloud AGID certification as Cloud Service Provider. I have been always keen to keep and growth my technological background I have developed in my first years in IBM as software developer. The most exciting experience in my career was when I was Global Response Team Manager, leading a team of 15 high skilled engineers across Europe that where asked to go on site to help out customers in critical situations.
I am a positive and full of energy person and I have a natural ability to understand priorities and not being overwhelmed by the things I have to accomplish, but instead schedule my time to accommodate many things, balancing work and personal life, which, with three kids, tends to be quite interesting. I am an easy to go person, with great empathy and a natural attitude of getting across with confidence to deal with stress. My main skills are resilience, strategic thinking and planning. Being effective in my job for me translates in adding value to our clients, showing how things should be done and setting standards to let people deliver outstanding results.
Before joining Cloud sales, my role focused on Services projects delivery with quality and within budget. I was responsible for division revenue and profit, as well as Business Development with the goal to sustain Hybrid Cloud opportunities pipeline grow.
An entrepreneurial approach complete my profile; I used to be IBM Italy representative in "Gruppo Giovanni Confindustria”, the Italian Industrial Federation.
Last but not least I ran 5 marathons in the last 6 years and, as a runner, I am used to set goals and to strive to meet them, enjoying myself.
