Shelli Brunswick brings a broad perspective and deep vision of the global space ecosystem — from a distinguished career as a space acquisition and program management leader and congressional liaison for the U.S. Air Force to her current role overseeing Space Foundation's three primary divisions: Symposium 365, Center for Innovation and Education, and Global Alliance.
Advocating for space technology innovation, entrepreneurship, diversity and inclusion, Shelli collaborates with organizations around the world to connect commercial, government and educational sectors in the mission to advance space technology innovation. Her work to champion the inclusion of underserved groups stems from staying true to the values instilled while she was in the military: a passion to share her journey, give back to the space community, and contribute to the development of the next-generation workforce.
Shelli will share her space journey from high school graduate to global technology space leader, canvassing her experience as a young professional, mid-career manager and C-suite leader. She'll identify lessons learned during each of those phases to highlight key milestones and demonstrated success strategies. She'll help you chart your future for exponential growth.

Shelli Brunswick, COO of Space Foundation, brings a broad perspective and deep vision of the global space ecosystem — from a distinguished career as a space acquisition and program management leader and congressional liaison for the U.S. Air Force to her current role overseeing Space Foundation's three primary divisions: Symposium 365, Center for Innovation and Education, and Global Alliance.
Advocating for space technology innovation and entrepreneurship, Shelli collaborates with government, commercial and educational sectors on initiatives for space commerce, young professionals, teacher development, and space-inspired curriculum.
Shelli's work to champion the inclusion of underserved groups stems from staying true to the values instilled while she was in the military: a passion to share her journey, give back to the space community, and contribute to the development of the next-generation workforce. As a leading role model for women in space, Brunswick was selected as the 2021 Global Technology Leadership Award and 2020 Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Role Model of the Year Award by WomenTech Network.
Shelli speaks at organizations and events around the globe to advance space technology innovation partnerships and collaboration, and is actively involved in the following: co-chairs Space Entrepreneurship at Tod’Aers, chairs Space Tourism Society Africa, chairs G100 Space Technology Wing, co-chairs Global Policy Insight Quad Forum and hosts the Women’s Global Gathering annually at Space Symposium.
In addition, Shelli is one of only 54 women worldwide to be selected by the United Nations as a mentor for its Space4Women program and is a World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) Senator for the United States of America.
She serves as an advisor or board member for their following: Global Women Leaders Committee, WomenTech Network, Lifeboat Foundation, and America’s Future Series, and she sits on the board of directors for Manufacturer's Edge and the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC.
