Session: Teaching a Dinosaur to Skateboard
The phrase "digital transformation" or "data driven culture" has become as common as "synergy" or "circle back" as a term thrown around the office. But what does it really mean? How do you take such a large, ambiguous goal and make it actionable? This talk focuses on identifying your key stakeholders and defining goals critical to a digital transformation in your office. Using my own experience at GlaxoSmithKline as a guideline, I'll delve into what it takes to truly transforming an office culture, from technologically resistant colleagues to managing hiccups in new technology adoption.
Bio
Samantha Clark is a biochemist turned data scientist who is passionate about using data to develop innovative technological solutions to complex problems. After completing her bachelor's in chemistry at the University of Virginia in 2015, she was accepted to GSK's prestigious Future Leaders Program. Since completing the FLP in 2019, she has worked as a Data Analyst at their biomanufacuring site in Rockville, MD.
