Session: Operationalizing Responsible AI
The EU AI Act is expected to be implemented by 2023, and it will change how businesses develop and utilize AI. Any business that offers an AI application to EU citizens or organizations will need to ensure its applications are aligned with EU Charter of Rights and various other laws, including ones in relation to discrimination and privacy. These applications will have to abide by the framework of “trustworthy AI” set forth by the Act. One major area of change will be responsible AI (“RAI”).
