Every organization is going to have to figure out how to bring together teams of people with many different skill sets (data scientists, analysts, data engineers, executive business users) and learn how to build a culture to respect those differences if the company is to truly extract all the value out of its data.During this talk I will highlight some of the key things you must consider when developing a data strategy, explaining key concepts like Responsible AI, AI Governance, and technology resilience through practical examples and life experience.

With a passion for data and analytics, Catalina Herrera has spent her entire career helping the industry push beyond digitalization to business transformation. She’s held both educational and technical positions, worked with state-of-the-art technology solutions across multiple industry verticals and served as a data scientist and advanced analytics consultant. Today she works with Fortune 100 companies and global technology leaders on digital transformation initiatives. In 2020, her influence in the AI community in Texas resulted in her being recognized as one of the top 30 women in Artificial Intelligence Advancement.
