New Relic is looking to add a key member to our Executive Sales leadership team. The Senior Vice President  - Sales, APJ, will assume responsibility for our fastest growing region.. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused industry leader with a proven track record of exceeding sales growth goals of consumption based platform products, specifically within Enterprise Accounts >1,000 employees in the Australia/New Zealand, India, ASEAN and Japan geography.

The SVP APJ will lead and support the pursuit of major sales activities in addition to being a team player. You know how to build and manage the synergy among business development, operations, sales engineering, proposal and contracts functions. In addition to leading new logo growth, be responsible for growing existing footprints and executing consumption agreements. What you'll do
  • Passionately lead, drive and deliver the New Relic vision and mission for the APJ business
  • Drive growth of existing strategic accounts and acquire new enterprise customers
  • Lead and manage Front Line Managers and Enterprise Account Executives in achieving individual, team, and organizational quotas
  • Build and drive new and strategic go-to-market plans to meet company growth and market share goals
  •  Drive strategic deals and accounts to six-figure and seven-figure deal victories and monitor account planning and execution to deliver maximum revenue potential
  • Provide strategic executive leadership for the APJ Sales team including sales forecasting, territory assignments, sales coaching and commission planning
  • Coach sales teams by helping structure sales opportunities and deals; further assist with selling activities as appropriate, ensure the sales team is working collaboratively with operations, sales engineering, and other internal/external teams
  • Develop annual sales forecasts using a combination of top-down and bottom-up input.
  • Strive to keep ahead of industry trends, competitive activity and client opportunities; Attend trade shows, industry events, internal meetings and conferences
  • Lead all aspects of regional customer satisfaction and renewals
  • Lead recruitment and retention activities

This role requires
  • 20+ years experience in B2B sales
  • 10+ years of experience as a Sales Leader with direct reports selling enterprise application software to developers, IT/Operations, App owners, and/or business leaders
  • Direct experience in the SaaS Application Performance Monitoring industry or consumption based businesses
  • Demonstrated Enterprise account sales leadership experience and track record of success..
  • Strong knowledge of leveraging partners to grow business
  • Strong executive presence
  • In depth understanding of both Consumption model business and Product Led Growth GTM Strategies & advantages
  • Ideally has led a team of >50+and has experience managing a business >100mil
  • Experience leading teams through organizational transition and change management.
  • Demonstrated company values on a personal and leadership level to align teams with company values
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of leveraging partners to grow business
