Senior IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

Our client is a global commodity trading group active in sourcing, storing, transporting, financing, and trading metals, minerals, energy, and power with a headquarter in Switzerland. They provide a wide range of financial, logistical, and risk management infrastructure allowing their mining and processing partners to focus on what they do best.

For the client's office in Athens, Greece we are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Support Engineer for a whole fresh start of IT operations and environment setup. You will be in front of the Enterprise Administration as a member of EPAM's internal administrators' team serving and running EPAM's infrastructure. With the focus on internal operations, this position will also be involved in production projects support - shared mode.

So, we are looking for a Core IT Engineer (Windows environment) with experience developing Global IT Enterprise Solutions and Services, who is able to take on large tasks effectively and act as a coach to more junior team members. It is not expected to interface with many other internal teams to complete day-to-day tasks.

Our IT infrastructure department is aimed at supporting and developing an Enterprise IT Infrastructure, including Core IT Services solutions management, Datacentre development and maintenance, Network architecture and adoption, and End-User and Telecommunication Support.
