After some years leading a team of Engineers (building the team from scratch, growing it to a performance level, navigating through change with them and helping with their professional development, never forgetting the delivery and quality of the project) I needed a change. New challenges, a team that actually needed me, a way to prove my managerial and leadership skills to myself. So, I embarked in this adventure of leading a Data Science team, located in two different countries (plus me in a third one) A team with a great need of processes and ways of working to help them be productive and happy at the same time. Anna Terés has 17 years of experience in Software Development. She has a strong focus on getting things done and delivering technical solutions that make customers' lives easier.Anna joined Ocado Technology 7.5 years ago as Software Engineer, moving quickly to lead a team of engineers for more than 5 years. During the last 9 months has been acting as Team Leader of one of Ocado's Data Science teams. Whenever Anna is not reading, playing video games, headbanging, or training like a Spartan, you may find her studying new and challenging fields like Physics. She is happy to discuss quantum mechanics in Spanish, Catalan, English or German.
