The Enterprise Security Architect works on highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge or two or more specialized architecture areas. This role is responsible for driving the secure design and system development efforts (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) of product ecosystems and cybersecurity technology integration and roadmaps. The Sr. Security Architect may interact w/ functional leaders to support broad technical initiatives and are expected to mentor or train junior Architects.

  • Provide security architecture leadership and technical design & architecture guidance across technology product, platforms and services delivered across GE businesses
  • Perform threat modeling & architecture risk assessments on related technology products and platforms
  • Analyze design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive cyber security risk and architecture viewpoint.
  • Define enterprise and product security architecture requirements at both the product and cybersecurity domain level within product portfolios
  • Contribute to the secure design & development of service-oriented capabilities with reusable components that can be orchestrated to support multiple businesses
  • Lead the research and evaluation of emerging cybersecurity technology, industry and market trends to assist in secure product development and/or operational support capabilities
  • Drive a continued focus on automation & orchestration and furthering the integration of Cyber Security & Technology Risk management into native product development capabilities
