Position Overview:

As a Workday Finance Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and implementation support for Workday Finance solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial processes, configure Workday solutions to meet their needs, and ensure a smooth deployment and integration.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-8 years as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant, with hands-on experience in Workday Finance implementations.

  • Certifications: Workday Finance (P2P/R2R) certifications.

  • Skills: Expertise in Workday Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Financial Reporting etc)

  • Implementation & Support: Proven ability to lead end-to-end implementations, troubleshoot system issues, and provide user training.

  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Strong consulting skills, effective communication, and collaboration with internal and external teams.

  • Documentation & Training: Experience in creating user manuals, configuration guides, and conducting training sessions.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferences:

  • Certifications in module like Workday Business Assets, Expenses, Inventory, or other related modules will be an added advantage

  • Experience with calculated fields, custom reports, and process optimizations.

  • Ability to provide insights on financial process optimization and best practices.

  • Exposure to integrating Workday Finance with other enterprise systems.

  • Strong analytical mindset to address complex business challenges.

  • Experience in managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.

  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices.
