Session: How a people-first product leads to better work/life balance
Front is on a mission to make work happier by meaningfully connecting teams and customers, regardless of workplace. One place it gets truly reflected is in the way Engineering, Product and Design operate as one team. Join us as Kaitlin and Vrushali talk about how they use Front’s company values around collaboration, low-ego and transparency in their day-to-day interactions and the product Front is building.
Vrushali and Kaitlin will discuss the benefits of harnessing the power of the product they are building firsthand and how they and their team use Front’s company values to drive decision-making about Front's product strategy and collectively own outcomes. As a company focused on ensuring employees everywhere are happier at work, they will share anecdotes on how their product team (and adjacent teams) prioritize employee workloads and overall product roadmap when navigating complex situations, especially as a woman leader in tech.
In this presentation, Vrushali and Kaitlin can also expand upon the importance of having company values ingrained in every team. Every employee uses Front, and every process, from engineering to recruiting, uses the collaborative and automated tools they build for their customers. Vrushali has also been inspired by the product and company that have her team working asynchronously and can share the lessons learned on how to practice that as a leader.
