Session: Bridging the business/tech divide as a tech professional

I have a Computer Engineering and MBA background and have over 15 years of industry and consulting experience in the digital space. In my 15+ years, the one thing I learnt is the importance of bridging the gap between business and technology - and no this does not mean going for an MBA degree alone.

My consulting career has allowed me to work extensively across US, UK, Europe, India, Japan, and Australia with leading high-tech, financial services and asset-heavy firms. Through these varied experiences, I also learnt the art of effectively engaging stakeholders in multi-cultural settings, that helped me build global relations.

In this session, I will share my story on how to effectively become a "storyteller" as a tech professional; and create your own global relations.

My colleague Nerea Eceiza-Arregui will join me for the Fireside Chat.

Key Takeaways

  • Bridging the gap between business and technology as a tech professional
  • Creating lasting business relations and moving beyond "networking"
  • Embracing different cultures to collaborate with a global team
