Daria Hemmerling Bio
I am a researcher, developer, and associate professor. I am passionate about audio-related – voice, speech, and music processing. I enjoy programming and solving problems that require analytical skills. During my PhD I worked on voice and speech quality quantification. I am always open and enthusiastic about new ideas and looks forward to investigating them in her work. During my career, I was awarded by Federal Assistance Award funded by the U.S Department of State, the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research in Singapore, the Polish Ministry of Higher Education, the European Innovation Council, and the National Center for Research and Development in Poland. I was also a fellow at Ivey Business School in Canada. Currently, I am working on speech processing to detect various diseases, mixed reality implementation in healthcare, and biosignal transfer via mid-air haptic technology. I love traveling, sailing, and meeting new people in my free time.
