We are looking for a team player with strong supply chain & logistics acumen to join our HP Customer Support (CS) Global Logistics Center of Excellence team.  In this newly formed role, you’ll have a variety of responsibilities, all of which pertain to driving future logistics strategies across our organization.  Our leading candidate will need to collaborate, influence, and strategize with leaders both internally and externally.  You’ll be tasked to design, development and drive operational logistics standards, strategies, & solutions.  This role will take a highly motivated individual that has strong logistics expertise, has experience in persuading executives to buy-in to your ideas, and thinks strategically.  We need someone that’s willing to work hard, works well in an ambiguous, yet dynamic business landscape, and has fun while doing it!

Key activities:

Establishing standardized contracts, processes, & tools by strategically aligning to regional/market teams (I.e. Project plan of record, short term strategy, budget goals, etc.)

Lead market rate negotiations & contract standardization execution

Link to data scientists to create future logistic design, solutions and customer experiences –”Logistics of the Future”

Active contributor and logistics representative into global projects and strategy development

Systems/market & logistics environment SME to drive continuous improvement,  utilization of emerging capabilities and general compliance

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, to prioritize, and adapt to a changing environment

6+ years of logistics experience in robust, demanding work environments

Ability to work across complex teams & time zones

Experience with Management of Change processes

Superior influencing and negotiating skills

Strong use of Microsoft Office tools for analytics, presentations, and project management

Experience managing global logistics partners

Experience leading global programs and/or projects

Willing to travel globally (as needed)

Fluent English (written and verbal)
