This is a role specific to India and will manage a team of HR professionals in People Operations, HRIS Analysts and Benefit Specialists. The role will provide strategic partnership and effective support in a manner that is consistent with local laws and best practices and will help shape the future of work through strong partnerships, data analysis, trending issues, assessing root cause analysis and making recommendations to influence positive outcomes.
What you'll do
HR Center of Excellence
- Curate customized solutions and programs aligned to business and HR objectives.
- Curate programs focusing on Talent Engagement, Retention and Development.
- Own, deliver and drive initiatives focused on Diversity & Inclusion, Employer Branding, Employee Rewards, Events, and Engagement Initiatives.
- Support the leadership team to drive the department-level strategic meetings.
Engagement & Culture
- Drive a High Performance culture
- Drive New Relic cultural values and key behaviours
- Create an engaging work environment
- Ensure operational excellence towards HR Ops focusing on the employee life cycle
- Design and implement Employee Engagement activities & initiatives to nurture belongingness amongst employees with the company.
Talent Management & Development
- Promote a learning culture within the organization.
- Competency mapping and skill gap analysis
- Identifying training needs and developing tailor made programs/ planned interventions to enhance the technical, managerial and behavioral skills as required at appropriate levels.
- Facilitate leadership development initiatives to build a strong leadership team
- Actively drive the talent agenda to ensure high quality talent through levers of hiring, development, succession planning, internal movements, mentoring etc.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve HR processes.
- Regular reporting on HR initiatives, challenges, and progress.
This role requires
- Overall experience of at least 12+ years including 5 years of HR leadership role.
- A demonstrated track record in working in highly matrixed organisation. Courage and comfort in engaging senior leaders. Agility, Digitally savviness and Emotional Quotient should be high. Good in consulting and problem solving, coaching, collaborating with a strong employee orientation.
Bonus points if you have
- Degree in HR
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Prior work experience with a multinational company headquartered in the US
