Our Business Operations, Strategy & Analytics team partners with our Cloud Technology Group to meet the needs of our customers. Our goal is to enable revenue growth by providing stakeholders with clear visibility into our Go-to-Market (GTM) motion, tracking performance across the full revenue lifecyclefrom lead generation through post-sale.

As a Strategy & Operations Analyst you will report to the Manager of Revenue Operations. You will responsible for analysis and data management supporting functional organizations within the CTG. You will be working closely with major stakeholders across various groups to support the Compute "Go-to-Market" motion.

As a Strategy & Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Connecting Data to the Go-to-Market Motion of Compute
  • Identifying and implementing high performance business value creation and transformation through data and analysis
  • Providing Data Intelligence by designing, developing, and building dashboards and data sources by leveraging enterprise reporting systems
  • Developing and building metrics and key success measures, and leading technical designs of queries and models
  • Enabling better and proactive decision making, in areas including capacity delivery, financial performance and operations
  • Collaborating with CTG business partners and leaders to provide ad-hoc insights and/or regularly published reports

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
  • Show working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets including experience with pivot tables, v-lookup and formatting
  • Demonstrate experience writing queries in SQL using joins, CTEs, and subqueries
  • Have experience with data visualization and analysis tools, such as Tableau
  • Be able to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $62,400 - $129,600/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
