Own your business

You'll be responsible for developing and closing new business pipeline and helping to build the Akamai brand. This will be based predominantly in the financial services industry, however can include other verticals. Owning the full sales cycle, you will collaborate with internal teams. Supporting activities such as lead-generation, technical qualification and customer value confirmation.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Developing relationships with new customer opportunities in Benelux.
• Delivering value for our customers and Akamai and to ultimately form strategic partnerships with our customers.
• Creating and managing a high-value sales pipeline and ensuring forecast accuracy.
• Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of new Akamai products and/or services.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams of sales engineers to ensure successful consultative engagements with prospects.

• Demonstrate experience and a passion for driving new customer opportunities.
• Have experience working closely with channel partners to build lasting relationships to help you grow your business.
• Have experience building brand through events, campaigns and use of PR with partners and customers.
• Have experience within the technology industry and an enthusiasm to learn.
• Be bi-lingual in French & Dutch
