While mentoring is a powerful tool in empowering women to reach top leadership positions, it alone cannot bridge the gender gap in C-suite roles. Structural issues such as unequal pay, unconscious bias, and a lack of family-friendly policies in the workplace also need to be addressed. Mentorship must be part of a broader, multi-faceted strategy to achieve gender parity at the top.
