Nodal Exchange currently offers over 1,000 power contracts on hundreds of unique locations, providing the most effective basis risk management available to market participants.
Nodal Exchange also offers 83 futures and options products in 51 distinct environmental markets, as well as natural gas contracts.
All transactions on Nodal Exchange are cleared through its clearing house, Nodal Clear, using a portfolio margining approach that provides participants significant risk management and capital efficiency advantages.
Nodal Exchange is a designated contract market regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC.) Nodal Clear is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nodal Exchange and is a CFTC registered derivatives clearing organization. Nodal is based in Virginia and is part of the EEX GROUP.
