Objective of the role 

•    Support our growing Cloud and Managed Service Providers(MSP).
•    Identify new market demand opportunities that can be satisfied by SUSE solutions in a public or hybrid cloud model.
•    Exhibit a deep understanding of SUSE products, platforms and technologies and act as subject matter expert on partner technology to SUSE functional teams
•    Expand the SUSE footprint within the partner’s portfolio.
•    Develop and design solutions, processes, methodologies and tools used to deliver repeatable solutions through the Service Providers. 
•    Technically support the on-boarding of new MSP’s and improve the time to revenue, 
•    Engage with SUSE Training and facilitate technical workshops and trainings internally and to partners
•    Participate in relevant marketing events including trade shows, seminars and conferences as subject matter expert.

Focus Area

SUSE’s recognizes the importance of developing a new channel within the hosting and service provider community for private cloud hosting. The Managed Service Provider (CSP) Solution Architect must be able to speak at both the Director and Engineer level and develop strategic relationship. 
We are looking for a person with a very strong technical background who has extensive experience working with partners such as system integrators, MSPs, ISVs and CSPs.
•    Actively be engaged in the recruitment of new MSP’s to contribute to the growth of the program
•    Develop and design single and multi-tenant solutions, processes and methodologies for MSPs based on SUSE’s portfolio.   
•    Technically support the on-boarding of  new MSP’s and improve the time to revenue, provide pre sales guidance for /public cloud offerings
•    Establishes themselves as a technical expert with varying industry knowledge
•    Prepares and presents quarterly technical and business reviews as required, providing recommendations for process and product improvement 
•    Helping in the development, communication and implementation of the company's MSP strategy
•    Responsible for tangible growth of SUSE revenue through new and existing MSPs across the product portfolio.
•    Engage with SUSE Training and facilitate technical trainings and workshops to partners.

About You
•    Experience working with CSPs, MSPs and ISVs
•    Sales Engineering / Solution Architect background or professional services with enterprise customers
•    Must understand the “As a Service” model 
•    Self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision and a proven team player
•    Must have technical knowledge of Open Source, Linux, Kubernetes, Public Cloud Infrastructure, Data Center Infrastructure and automation tools (SALT, Terraform, Ansible). 
•    Technical knowledge of Networking and Storage is beneficial
•    Experience in technical documentation such as white paper, best practices
•    Strong communication, persuasion and presentation skills 
•    Advanced writing skill to develop good presentation and/or white paper is an advantage.
•    Ability to travel regionally and internationally
•    Ability to speak multiple languages is an advantage.
•    B.S. Degree in Computer Science (or related degree and experience)
•    Familiar with Amazon (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Compute Platform tools, marketplace and ecosystem.
