We are seeking a talented, energetic individual to join our team supporting Synopsys’s infrastructure and R&D teams.  Our team’s mission is to provide world class IT Support for all collaboration tools and business process software. This role’s focus will be on managing and supporting Synopsys services that directly impact end users, from endpoint management to server infrastructure and SaaS services.

Individuals should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team and a willingness to learn new tasks.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent course training preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing endpoints through Jamf, Tanium, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, Auto Pilot and SCCM
  • Execute endpoint management tasks in Jamf, Intune and Tanium environments as directed by management
  • Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell, VBS, Shell scripting and Batch Scripting
  • Support VMware and Nutanix hypervisor environments
  • Assist with support for Microsoft on-prem servers and M365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Office products)
  • Identify & mitigate open vulnerabilities as identified by internal tools including (but not limited to the below platforms)
    • Windows, Linux, Mac OS, etc.
  • Build packages to deliver and patch various productivity, development and other software applications installed on end user laptops
  • Ability to review and analyze situations, data, and procedures to propose the most efficient solution(s)
  • Collaborate with colleagues and internal customers around the globe
  • Contribute to our ‘team first’ dynamic

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.)
  • Some experience with Microsoft 365 services
  • Some experience with virtualisation
  • Experience or knowledge of Jamf, SCCM, Tanium, Intune or other Windows endpoint management technologies
  • Experience with data analysis using Excel, Power BI, or similar
  • Excellent customer service skills, active listening, patience, attentiveness, adaptability, dependability, and effective communication
  • Understanding of common patching and remediation tools and best practices (Tanium, Intune, SCCM, PatchMyPC, Atera, SolarWinds, ManageEngine etc.)



Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or course training preferred.
