The Developer Platform organization is seeking a Senior UI/UX specialist with extensive UI/UX design and implementation expertise to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of an intuitive internal developer platform by applying modern UI/UX design techniques that will drive engineering efficiency. You will have the unique opportunity to transform the developer portal that will enhance collaboration and efficiency within our development teams.
What you'll do
- Design an innovative internal developer portal, ensuring it aligns with our technical requirements and user needs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into user-centered design solutions using modern UI development frameworks.
- Create intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs through the entire experience lifecycle, from sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to high-fidelity designs.
- Efficient implementation of the solution using Ant Design React UI framework.
This role requires
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in UI development using modern front-end frameworks such as React.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Strong expertise in UX design principles, user research methodologies, and interaction design.
- Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, user interface, and interaction design, with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and a high-level proficiency in Figma.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing your work on complex applications, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
Bonus points if you have
- Proficient in UI development using React.
- Familiarity with Design Systems and Atomic Design principles.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
