We are looking for a Lead HRIS Analyst to join our team. The key accountabilities include optimizing Workday and leading projects, ensuring data integrity, report writing, and interpreting data flows for process improvement opportunities. The ability to work effectively with peers to set technology priorities. This role also supports other related People System tools which includes upgrades, issue resolution, testing, and other technical projects as assigned!

What you'll do
  • Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or issues. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of upgrade or fix. 
  • Provides support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Recommends and consults on process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes. Provides advice and options on the best way to automate processes in the system.
  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains stakeholders on new processes/functionality. 
  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement system enhancements that align with organizational needs.

This role requires
  • 8+  years of experience with HR Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Solid attention to detail, particularly with reporting and auditing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Workday with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in capturing business requirements and translating them into system configuration
  • Expertise in at least three of the following product areas: Core HCM (required), Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Payroll and a solid foundation in the following cross-functional skills: Custom Reporting and Calculated Fields, Business Process Configuration, Security

Bonus points if you have
  • Prior experience within HRIS and Workday experience preferred
  • Software and tech company experience preferred
  • Experience in other people systems preferred: Avature, CultureAmp, Achievers, etc.
