The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Who You Are

Qualification/Experience:  B.E/B. Tech, M.E/M-Tech.

                                                 10+ Years of experience

Requirement 

. Should have 10-14 years of experience.

. Should have experience on working on large enterprise environment.

. Should have developer experience.

· Experience creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles, including testing with Molecule and pytest

· Orchestrate playbooks, roles, templates, and workflow execution 

· Understanding how to plan and implement Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower)

· Firm understanding of best practices for the use of Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower)

· Ability to mentor other engineers on the use of Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower)

· Automate the creation, updating, and deleting of on Prem Private cloud resource with Ansible Automation Platform

· Firm understanding on the use of gitops deployment model

· Understanding of REST APIs (client and service)

· Create Windows and Linux VM's in On Prem – Private Cloud Env

· Manage VM's using Ansible Windows DSC and PS Modules, and Linux playbooks

· Establish Data layer systems (cloud database services) and integration into the application fabric

. Good skills in scripting Python,YAML,PowerShell, JSON,Strong expertise in Ansible, creating playbooks and roles, Shell Scripting, Git,Terraform

· Leverage Ansible modules for Selenium to execute presentation layer automation

· Leverage Ansible git modules to control application code deployment

· Leverage winget, chocolatey, YUM/DNF repositories to set up application components and hosting environments
• Experience in data pipelines development and tooling, e.g., Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues, to derive technical requirements from business needs and problems

Preferred Skills and Experience

. Creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles, including testing with Molecule and pytest Orchestrate playbooks, roles, templates, and workflow execution with vRealize Orchestrator/vRealize Automation and ServiceNow

. Experience creating and maintaining job templates, projects, workflows in Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower)

. Understanding how to plan and implement Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower)

. Firm understanding of best practices for the use of Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower)

. Ability to mentor other engineers on the use of Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower)

. Understanding of REST APIs (client and service) Network Automation Experience Cisco ACI F5 Load Balancers Palo Alto Firewalls Infoblox networking constructs Storage Automation Experience NetApp Pure Storage Cloud Storage Constructs

. Compute Automation Experience Create Windows and Linux VM's in VMWare on Prem- Private Cloud.

. Confidential computing techniques Manage VM's using Ansible Windows DSC and PS Modules, and Linux playbooks Create Kubernetes Services, and RedHat OpenShift Clusters Establish Data layer systems (cloud database services) 

Understanding of social coding and Integrated Development Environments, e.g., GitHub and Visual Studio
• Degree in a scientific discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology .


 

Other important skill sets & Product knowledge.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to write purchase.

              justifications, train users in complex topics, make presentations to an

              internal audience and interact positively with upper management.
