While gender quotas can make tech workspaces more diverse, they do not address the root causes of gender inequality, such as societal stereotypes, educational disparities, and unconscious bias. True inclusivity requires a multifaceted approach that includes educational outreach, sensitivity training, and policies that tackle these deeper issues. Without this, quotas risk being a temporary fix rather than a pathway to lasting change.
