Session: Why gender should not matter for your career, but you do!
Having worked as a people manager, especially in Tech environment for a while now, I have come across lots of gender stereotypes deeply ingrained in our subconscious. Some of them are based on historical traditions, social constructs, industrial and business development patterns, gender constants. However, some are being nourished by our lack of confidence, fears and doubts. Should we battle those? Not necessarily! First, we learn and use our experience as a guide to become stronger and more resilient. We discover new techniques and progress further with every set of the way. Second, we share our precious knowledge and power with others. Third, we listen and learn to embrace on this journey over and over again. How? Join the talk during which I will share some practical tips and tricks.
