⚡️ Save the date: Women in Tech Global Conference 2023 will take place on May 9-12!
Tell us about your experience as a Women in Tech Global Conference 2022 speaker.
It is a very unique conference that brings diverse people across the world together. I got to learn so much from various speakers. Meeting like-minded people and sharing our stories makes me believe that we are all connected. Women in Tech Global Conference brought us all together. I got the opportunity to speak in 2021 and in 2022. Participation has been amazing in both years. This year I had a little glitch in sharing audio/video, but I continued our session through the chat window and everyone was very supportive until the issue was resolved.
The conference also provided a platform to share my knowledge with others and it helped me go beyond my comfort zone. I was really astonished by the number of speakers, networking rooms and huge participation on all the days of the conference. I am grateful to Women in Tech for encouraging and supporting talent.
What is your favorite thing about working in tech?
My favorite thing about working in tech is about solving challenges, bringing solutions to society, and simplifying lives. Working in tech helps to expand and enrich creative thinking.
What advice (and tips) would you give to women who want to start a tech career?
If you are about to start your tech career, I would like you to learn from your mistakes and failures, learn from the mistakes of others, and always question the “why” before working on a solution. There are many things in technology and you may not be able to do everything, but it will help to have an open mind, explore various topics and connect the dots.
Who would you recommend to join the WomenTech Network?
I would recommend everyone to join WomenTech whether they are in tech or not. One, you would have immense learning, two, you get to meet very talented people across the world, and three, you get the motivation and energy to accomplish your goals.
To recognise the achievements of our community and beyond we are hosting the annual Women in Tech Global Awards 2022. Nominate yourself or someone else:
