Session: Weaving DEI into the Organizational Fabric
DEI is often seen as a stand alone initiative, often seen as a tick in the box and/or, a way to appease minority groups. Many leaders give it a nod but not many truly believe or understand how systemic and prevalent the issues are. Applying personal experiences from NGOs, academia and tech start-ups across Asia, Europe and the UK, this presentation invites us to strategically leverage the current organizational 'blind spots' in order to move the DEI narrative from the sidelines to front and center.
