The Women in Tech Show: A Technical Podcast
The Women in Tech Show is an amazing podcast hosted by Edaena Salinas, a Software Engineer. The purpose of the podcast is to highlight the amazing work that women are doing in tech. Salinas noticed that women are often only asked about diversity in tech, or what it feels like to be a woman in the industry. Instead, her show wants to focus on what these women are actually working on, with the slogan “A podcast about what we work on, not what it feels like to be a woman in tech”.
The show has over a hundred episodes covering a range of topics, interviewing women involved in all areas of tech. Their most recent episode was “Cybersecurity and Financial Services with Jen Easterly”, the Global Head of Cybersecurity Fusion Centre at Morgan Stanley, where they discussed the ideas behind cybersecurity and how it links to financial services.
Witty: Women In Tech Talk To Yaz
Witty is a fantastic, weekly show where women come together and discuss their stories in the tech industry. Founded and hosted by Yasmin Alameddine, she interviews a range of women in a candid way to discuss how to navigate being a woman in tech. She’s had a star-studded line-up of guests, such as the founders of Bumble, to people working for Netflix, Instagram and Google. If that isn’t inspirational enough, the podcast is completely run by women, and has gained a large amount of popularity. Yaz most recently interviewed Megan Rafuse, the co-founder of Shift Collab. They discuss the relationship between mental health and technology, and how technology can both better and be the detriment of mental health.
Two WIT Podcast
Two WIT’s slogan is “A podcast for women in tech doing life” and has been acclaimed for its candid, funny conversations while still providing a valuable insight into the industry. Melinda Smith and Kristi Campbell discuss everything from TikTok to the Salesforce ecosystem. While other podcasts focus on the elites in the tech world, Two WIT also discuss the everyday things, which makes the show that much more relatable. In their most recent episode they interviewed Kate and Hector Perez, founders of Merivis, a non-profit aimed at helping veterans and their spouses to be trained to enter the Salesforce industry.

Unchained is your one-stop-shop for everything you want to know about cryptocurrency and blockchain. Laura Shin, previously the Senior Editor of Forbes blockchain and cryptocurrency coverage, hosts this informative podcast, and does a thorough investigation into the world of cryptocurrency, exploring regulation, security and privacy. The podcast’s motto, “Your no-hype resource for all things crypto”, sums it up perfectly.
