Your day at NTT DATA

Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.

Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.

Provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the testing of electronics. You will work in close collaboration with other technicians to ensure efficient production processes are followed and produce high quality products. You should have experience working within a small team, as well as having knowledge of your own technical area. This role is best suited to those who like to follow instructions and keep track of their time efficiently whilst also being able to think creatively when needed.

Requirements

• Assists with testing and troubleshooting system malfunctions.
• Responsible for first line application support across client systems
• Liaise with business and technical representatives to ensure the highest quality outcomes • Perform defect logging and reporting
• Must be willing to work on a shift rotation

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or relevant qualification in IT/Computing • 2 - 3 years demonstrated work experience
• A+
• N+
