Job Description Summary

As the Nuclear Medicine Academic Clinical Excellence Leader, you will work intimately with designated Academic NM KOLs in the Central US to understand their current state of clinical care, clinical/research objectives and work to optimize patient care outcomes through high quality support and education. You will engage with radiologists, physicists and team members in all disease state areas to optimize and standardize protocols, improve image quality and workflow to maximize the use of GE systems’ functionality through ensuring a high level of proficiency and satisfaction across all sites.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop strong clinical relationships with top academic medical centers in the market and contribute to building GE’s credibility through excellent customer interaction
  • Continuous interaction with key clinical, research and administrative decision makers to understand primary objectives and pain points.
  • Champion assimilation and use of advanced system features and imaging techniques; optimize adoption and satisfaction
  • Consult with radiologists by disease state on an ongoing basis to optimize image quality
  • Optimize protocols to achieve best possible image quality on scanners
  • Assist in standardization across installed system base
  • Partner with department leaders to increase efficiency
  • Identify training needs and opportunities among technologists and physicians
  • Assist with introducing new offerings/studies; Assist customer in adopting and advancing new product (NPI) features and imaging techniques to meet clinical and research needs
  • Liaise closely with account team to ensure optimal alignment and communication to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the SBU (Strategic Business Unit) and Modality teams to provide insights of customer learnings and competition; provide a feedback loop to SBU and Modality teams on product performance at assigned academic sites
  • Act as focal point for modality team, identify customer satisfaction issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests.
  • Establish and drive relations, collaboration, and partnerships with all department/relevant stakeholders; engage with key opinion leaders on progress made and gain consensus on next steps/actions

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent and 5+ years of PET/CT technical/clinical industry experience; plus, ARRT certification.
  • Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry 
  • Willingness to travel extensively(up to 70%) within the assigned market
  • Demonstrated clinical skills, viewed as subject matter expert, to include advanced applications in respective modality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; interest in and aptitude for close customer interaction
  • Ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders in modality/commercial/service teams
  • Experience in speaking, presenting materials relevant to a diverse audience
