What You'll Do:
Criteo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the EMEA Enterprise Team as Director Activation, Enterprise France.
As the leader of Activation, you will focus on developing our relationships with advertisers and agencies to enable Criteo to deliver a growth agenda across a variety of commerce media strategies including onsite retail media and offsite media activations. You will bring your market relationships, commercial knowledge, management capabilities and new business expertise to brands, agencies and retailer relationships, with attention to developing sales excellence that can be replicated across the region. Your tasks will include (but are not limited to) :
- Lead and oversee a team 30+ people in France (including new business sales & account strategy teams)
- Partner closely with the Managing Director France to contribute to sales strategy, people development, team performance and client development
- Partner with the Head of Monetization France & team to ensure that commercial opportunities in developing the retailer partnerships are met with the right sales strategy
- Drive by the objective of revenue growth of your team, you are a hands-on and a direct contributor to the revenue through your network (Agency and Advertiser)
- Be an inclusive, respected and caring leader and manager for your team, and a trustworthy business partner for your clients
- Build and maintain C-level relationships with your clients and other relevant stakeholders of the industry
- Develop a culture of customer-centricity across all teams, evolving our working processes and capabilities in line with expectations
- Negotiate sometimes complex multi-year deals, ensuring Criteo’s profitability
- Drive a positive and strong will do attitude across your team, by setting and executing a clear vision and strategy to achieve your goals
- Always stay up-to-date on product features, positioning, go-to-market strategy by collaborating with our Product, Product Marketing and Solutions Architect Teams
- Maintain senior relationships with retailers, brands and agencies to influence their performance strategy, including supporting the teams by participating in key meetings
- Partner effectively with a broad range of internal teams (Marketing, Legal, Account Management, Technical Solutions, Creatives and Product) to enable your sales efforts
- Engage strategically with the market and clients to represent Criteo on the subject Commerce Media. Position the company as leaders in the space
- Represent your discipline and market in EMEA Leadership meetings
Who You Are:
- Deep knowledge of both advertising technology and the retail landscape.
- Commercial leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading high performing sales and account management teams.
- Strong track record of leading, motivating, recruiting, and retaining a large sales organization
- Proven performance of consistently delivering business results in a high growth environment
- Influential connections and relationships within the retail industry, and with major agencies and brands
- Deep knowledge of advertising agencies, both on a holding company and operating agency level
- Ability to operate and influence in a matrix organization
- Analytical skills with a strategic mind set and a data-driven approach with problem-solving skills
