Our Senior Technical Program Managers leads strategic programs and initiatives across the division. We align product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to exceed the expectations of our customers. We are relied on by leaders across the organization to execute on critical programs with high-business impact.

Program Managers are key contributors to Akamai's success. Responsible for leading projects, developing processes that enable to measure and improve performance resulting in customer satisfaction.

As a Technical Program Manager Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Defining technical programs, identifying success criteria and compliance metrics
• Creating clarity in requirements, build relationships with partner teams, embrace agility, design features to drive business objectives
• Identifying, assessing, mitigating risks arising from variety of situations including those that arise from dependencies between groups
• Managing teams and partner closely with Engineering, Product Management and Network Operations to deploy roadmap solutions
• Developing successful partnerships with program stakeholders across the organization

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 12 years experience of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in program/project management or its equivalent
• Have organizational skills and work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse client environment
• Have experience with business process, operations, and metric definition best practices
• Have experience in Identifying and managing project dependencies while maintaining accurate project plans with real-time milestone
• Have experience with Waterfall, Agile methodologies, practices and PMP
• Have experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Be able to effectively communicate in business English both written and verbal
