While customized tech training programs offer a targeted solution to bring more women into STEM fields, they might inadvertently suggest that women need special treatment to succeed, potentially reinforcing stereotypes. The key to increasing women's representation lies in addressing the root causes of gender disparity, such as unconscious bias in hiring, lack of visible role models, and the gendered socialization of technology from a young age. Training programs must therefore be accompanied by initiatives that tackle these broader issues to create a truly inclusive culture.
