Session: From White Board to the Hands of Customers, the Journey of a Tech Innovator
Maggie Donnelly holds a Master's Degree in Science and Electrical Engineering, is a published author in numerous scientific articles and holds multiple patents. As a 6-year industry veteran in the product innovation space, Maggie has contributed to numerous inventions and the development of state of the art artificial intelligence in the automotive field. Through her journey, Maggie has developed a mastery in taking a product from ideation to manufacturing which will be explored during this session. The talk will also dive into Maggie's experiences in the product development space touching on topics that include the intersection between AI, software and hardware, the importance of understanding your customer and the journey behind developing your first prototype.
Bio
Maggie Donnelly is a Buffalo, New York native, having graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. She has focused her career on product development and manufacturing, having spent 2 years as a Product Engineer with Moog Inc. before joining ACV as a Research Engineer. With ACV, she has been involved in the development of numerous product lines including industry-leading patented technologies such as APEX and Virtual Lift®. Throughout her tenure, Maggie has implemented systems to promote continuous improvement and established the company standard for successfully taking a product from the research stage to scaled deployment.
