Bio
Erin Buonomo is the Executive Director of Design at IBM, focused on the design of AI-powered enterprise solutions in the asset management, supply chain, and ESG domains. In this role, she is on a mission to help clients transform and build more resilient and sustainable business operations by marrying human-centered design and technology to deliver intelligent insights and execution. She leads a global, multi-disciplinary team of design professionals tackling complex problems and designing innovative experiences utilizing Design Thinking.
Erin has been with IBM for 19 years and held a variety of roles leading initiatives and teams to deliver enterprise software and innovations at scale. She has experience that ranges from strategic product planning, organizational leadership, and agile product design and development. Erin holds a M.B.A from Bentley University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She is passionate about fostering inclusivity and building future leaders through her activity in women and local community groups.
She currently lives in Littleton, Massachusetts, USA.
