Session: Digital Transformation and Leadership
Digital transformation is affecting every industry, and the media industry is no exception. With changing consumer habits and more people shifting their attention to digital channels, media organizations are turning to digital transformation to save costs, increase revenues and improve engagement with customers. While transformation is often a daunting task, it requires leadership and direction from the top to be successful. In my talk, I will share insights on digital transformation and leadership, with a view on media organizations, as well as how women leaders can facilitate successful digital transformation efforts.
Bio
Anjali is the Director of Media Partnerships for APAC at Meta where she collaborates with media industry across broadcasters, streamers, film studios, digital publishers, sports leagues and teams to achieve their business and strategic goals across Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. Over the past 20 years she has played a significant role in leading and developing audiences and revenue for large media and technology companies including Yahoo and Microsoft. Most recently she was at Bloomberg Asia based in Hong Kong where she developed the regional digital and business strategy for APAC and India, and worked with over 600+ journalists and partners across the region.
